2. Principles

This website is aimed at visitors from Switzerland and abroad, in particular the EU. Personal data is processed in accordance with the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP) and, where applicable, the GDPR.

3. Server log files

When you visit the website, our hosting provider automatically collects technical data (IP address, date and time, page accessed, browser type, referring URL). This data is used solely for technical provision, system security and error analysis and is not merged with other data sources. Legal basis: legitimate interest in the secure operation of the website.

4. Contact and appointment scheduling

The contact form on this website opens your email client with the details you entered; the data is only transmitted when you send that email to kontakt@plexcreen.com. We process the data provided (name, organisation, email, optionally phone, topic and message) solely to handle your enquiry and to prepare an initial conversation. Getting in touch triggers neither an engagement nor any technical testing. Legal basis: pre-contractual measures or legitimate interest.

To schedule conversations, we offer Microsoft Bookings on the contact page. The embedded calendar is only loaded when you select “Show available times”; this establishes a connection to Microsoft and may transmit technical data and set cookies. Alternatively, you can open the calendar using the direct link. If you book an appointment there, your details are processed through Microsoft Bookings. The Microsoft Privacy Statement applies in addition.

We process invoicing and accounting data to fulfil contracts and to comply with commercial and tax law obligations.

5. Cookies and local storage

This website does not use cookies that require consent. It no longer stores a display preference in your browser; a setting saved by an earlier version is deleted locally on your next visit and is never transmitted to us. Third-party cookies can only arise in connection with the appointment service on the contact page described in section 4.

6. Analytics and tracking tools

We currently do not use any analytics, tracking or marketing tools. Should this change, we will obtain your consent beforehand and update this notice.

7. Fonts and embedded content

The fonts used on this website are served from our own server; no connection to external font providers is established. Videos and images are also served from our own server. The only embedded third-party service is the appointment service on the contact page described in section 4.

8. Recipients of the data

Data is disclosed to third parties only where necessary, in particular to IT and hosting service providers, the appointment service (section 4), tax advisors and financial authorities, and payment service providers, insofar as this is required to provide our services or to comply with legal obligations.

9. Data transfer abroad

Where data is transferred to countries without an adequate level of data protection (e.g. the USA), we ensure appropriate safeguards, for example through standard contractual clauses or the recipient's certification under the Swiss–U.S. or EU–U.S. Data Privacy Framework.

10. Storage period

We retain personal data only as long as necessary for the stated purposes or as required by law. Documents relevant to commercial and tax law are retained for the statutory period of ten years (Art. 958f Swiss Code of Obligations).

11. Your rights

Within the statutory framework you have the right to information, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection. You may withdraw consent at any time with effect for the future. Please contact kontakt@plexcreen.com. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC) or with the supervisory authority responsible for you in the EU.

12. Data security

We take appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect personal data against loss, misuse and unauthorised access. The connection to this website is encrypted (TLS).
